AMMAN (Petra) –– The Czech embassy in Amman on Tuesday signed an agreement with the Royal Society for the Conservation of Nature (RSCN), under which the Czech government will support a number of projects implemented by the society. The Czech government will also extend a grant to fund a project that seeks to make the Dana Natural Reserve dependent on solar energy for lighting and heating purposes instead of gas and kerosene. Czech Ambassador Ivana Holoubkova, who signed the agreement with RSCN Director General Yahya Khaled, underscored her country’s commitment, whether individually or through the European Union, to support the Kingdom’s endeavours in enhancing Jordanians’ living standards.
